Its undeniable kinship with grenache is evident in its delicately infused style, reminiscent of some of the great Rhône signatures... Notes of peony, sugared strawberry, and delicate spices precede a lightly extracted wine with moderate tannins, resulting in a palatable and digestible mouthfeel - all the qualities we cherish in our committee! From now until 2033This time, our journey takes us to Italy, specifically to Sardinia, where we discovered VikeVike. The winery is nestled in Mamoiada, at the heart of Sardinia. A young vineyard, established in 2015, it's the brainchild of an enthusiastic winemaker, Simone Sedilesu. 'VikeVike' in the local dialect translates to 'look, look', an exclamation of wonder and amazement. In this village, perched at an altitude of 650 meters, the predominant grape is Cannonau (known elsewhere as Grenache), accompanied by an indigenous white grape variety, Granatza. Definitely, a name to remember!
