Wine:
In the bowels of the earth... “Visitare Interiore Terrae Visitare Interiore Terrae”. The 2020 red Côtes du Roussillon Villages Latour de France VIT explores the formidable terroir of Bila-Haut, where 70-year-old Grenache and Syrah boldly blend together. This is a great, complex, expressive wine, with pure, intense, solid fruity flavors, supported by hints of spice and garrigue. The tannins are tight but well-executed, and the wine's breadth, fullness and persistence form a superb whole, which should be reserved for the table.Vinification:

At Domaine de Bila-Haut in the Roussillon, Michel Chapoutier continues his eternal quest for excellence. A forerunner of biodynamic viticulture, he applies to these southern terroirs the same precepts that have made him one of the world's most renowned winemakers.
With his renowned talent, he blends Mediterranean grape varieties to perfection to produce exceptional wines, such as this plot-based wine, isolated on the terroir of Latour de France, an enclave preserved at altitude on high limestone cliffs, a breeding ground for sparkling reds with great aging potential, always fresh.
