The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Béatrice and Vincent Rapin are all about the details. These meticulous winegrowers tend their tiny 1.5-hectare plot with near-monastic devotion. Committed to organic farming and embracing biodynamic principles, they carry out an immense amount of work in the vineyard — allowing them to step back completely in the cellar and let the wine make itself.

Crafted for true connoisseurs, their wines quickly caught the attention of Stéphane Derenoncourt, the renowned Bordeaux winemaker and consultant. And no wonder: this wine, named after a charming flower from the lily-of-the-valley family that blooms at eleven o’clock, is a bold standout in the Bordeaux landscape. It shakes up tradition to deliver pure, uncompromising fruit flavors that speak for themselves.
Wine The 2021 red Saint-Emilion Grand Cru stands out in the Bordeaux landscape, aged in terracotta jars and large oak casks. Its bouquet blends macerated black fruits with toasted nuances, roasted coffee beans, and fresh truffle, creating a complex and refined profile. The palate is equally fresh, managing a silky, well-structured, and lively juice with finesse. We've admired this cuvée for several years, appreciating its innate elegance and nuanced aging that enhances without overwhelming each year. This enticing wine is ready to enjoy over the next 5 to 7 years. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.
